All Kits come with an item to keep and an item to give.

LIONS, TIGERS AND BEARS, OH MY...BUT WHY? ELFercise Kit explores why we say, "Lions, Tigers and Bears, oh my!"  This phrase reflects our fear of these animals, when the truth is, if we are respecting an animal and it's home we have little reason to fear them.  In most cases we put ourselves in danger of these animals.  We are infringing on their space, not the other way around!

Kit comes with two matching stickers.

Teaches:  respect for animals and their home, animal safety/safe distance, consideration, responsibility

*****************************************
Why do we say,
“Lions, tigers and bears, oh my!?”
Because we fear them,
that is why.

Lions, tigers and bears
are feared
because they can be dangerous
if we are too near.

Dangerous, they are,
this is true.
But if you’re too near,
isn’t that on you?

If we are in a forest,
that is a bear’s home.
Though we may be free
to roam,

that does not mean
that we that should interfere,
because that is
the bear’s frontier.

Lions live in Africa,
a place we might visit.
But it isn’t right to infringe
on a lion’s space, is it?

Keep your distance.
Be respectful and safe
if you plan to share
a lion’s space.

There are less than 5,000 tigers
left in the wild.
The need to be respectful and helpful
to tigers is putting it mild.

Humans are the biggest threat to tigers.
If we want tigers to continue to exist,
we must be mindful, respectful
and learn to coexist.
